Browser Window Size Template

This is a handy tool for adjusting your browser window to some standard screen sizes.

Adjust the scroll bars on your browser window to place the top left corner of the table in the top left corner of the browser window, then size the bottom right corner of your browser window to the bottom right corner of the outline of the screen size.

On most browsers selecting the "[Top left corner of table]" link will position the table correctly. Note that different browsers may display the table borders differently. Some may include the border size (1 pixel) in the defined table size; others may include only the inside of the table in the defined table size.

Why would you use this? This is a tool for web site designers. There is an unfortunate trend by Web designers to format a Web page to a particular screen size. Of course, this is always a bad idea, and with this tool you can adjust your browser to see how a Web page looks in a particular screen size.
