Hi everyone: This month's KW Non-Profit SysAdmin meeting will focus on the acquisition of goods and services. Non-Profit organizations are not only constrained by funds, but sometimes have to be especially transparent about how they spend those funds. This means that the purchase of any goods or services have to put out to tender. And that means formal Requests For Information, Requests For Quotes, and Requests For Purchase.
How can the Non-Profit SysAdmin make this process easier? Why, with software, of course!
This month we've asked local company Bonfire https://gobonfire.com to talk to us about the purchasing and procurement needs of the Not-For-Profit sector, and to give us a demonstration of their online software. Special guests from Bonfire, Danielle McCormack and Ethan Driedger will be presenting the demonstration, and will be on hand to answer questions.
Not only that, but Bonfire has extended an invitation for us to meet at their offices this month! We'll meet on the 4th Floor at 121 Charles Street West (the Communitech building where we've had previous meetings). Search for "Danielle McCormack" on the iPad through Envoy.

We'll be joined by some other guests from the Not-For-Profit sector who aren't necessarily System Administrators, so this month's meeting should be particularly wide-ranging and interesting.
