This was a joint meeting of KW Linuxfest and KWVoIP

Participants: Colin J. Mills (KW Linuxfest), Marc Paré (KW Linuxfest), Sean Howard (KW Linuxfest), Bob Jonkman (KW Linuxfest, KWVoIP), Brian Bentley (KWVoIP), Sandy Hunter (KWVoIP), Willem Jonkman

Priorities
  • First: Get solid platform


  • Web:
    • Transfer web page ->CJM
      • To contain info about KW Linuxfest; HTML to be as static as possible
      • Easy to update
      • Registration facility (to be done later)


  • Mail server ->Sean Howard
    • Mailing lists:
      • Organizers (currently on SOBAC server)
      • Participants (exhibitors and presenters)
      • Newsletter


  • Mumble server (Murmur) ->Sean Howard
    • We're currently using the one on kwvoip.ca's server




KW Linuxfest Foundation
  • A formal organization is needed
  • Board of Directors
    • Executive Officers appointed:
      • Chief Executive Officer (President): Colin J. Mills
      • Chief Financial Officer (Treasurer): Marc Paré
      • Chief Technical Officer (SysAdmin): Sean Howard
      • Secretary: Bob Jonkman

    • Banks will need list of Board of Directors; see these minutes.
    • Bank or Credit Union?
      • Mark will use the same institution he's used before
